Dear Patient,
Important information regarding your GP Surgery. Please read carefully for information. You do not need to do anything.
Notice of the relocation of your surgery Prestbury Medical Practice, 81 Prestwood Road West, Wednesfield and Bushbury Health Centre, Hellier Road, Bushbury.
We wrote to you in May 2021 advising you that the practice has been successful with securing support from NHS England and our advisors to relocate our two existing surgeries to a new purpose-built surgery premises in Bushbury. Building commenced on the new surgery in May 2022 and we are please to announce that the building is nearing completion and is expected to be finished by late June 2023.
We are relocating both practices on 8th July 2023 in readiness for services to operate from Monday 10th July 2023 at the new surgery. Please be assured that there will be no break in services for patients. You new surgery will be based at:

Please be assured that you do not need to do anything as a result of the relocation, You will remain registered with Prestbury Medical Practice and will continue to have access to the same doctors, nurses and clinical services as you did before the relocation. All staff, including clinical and non-clinical staff will be relocated to the new site and will be operational as normal from 10th July 2023. We believe that providing care to patients from one address will be beneficial to all concerned.
Due to the relocation, please note that the Saturday clinic scheduled for 8th July between 9.00am to 1.00pm at Prestwood Road West will be held at Showell Park Health Centre, Fifth Avenue, Wolverhampton, WV10 9ST for this date only.
We welcome registrations from patients and patients wishing to register with the practice can continue to do so as before and will not be affected by the relocation. However if you decide that you would like to register with another GP practice, please visit the NHS website, where you will be able to enter your postcode to search for practices located near you. You will need to contact the practices directly to find out if you live within their catchment area.
