What is a Primary Care Network?
A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a group of General Practices that work together to provide integrated services to their local populations. This is in collaboration with other primary care staff, community groups and health and care organisations.
The aims of the PCN are to develop new ways of working together with community services, share workforce and be able to provide new services. We hope to improve the quality of care to patients in the local community with the involvement of different specialist roles. Watch this video for more information on PCNs.

Here are coronavirus guidance resources in different languages: www.doctorsoftheworld.org.uk/coronavirus-information
NHS 111 Service
If you are concerned about your symptoms, or you feel you are unable to manage your symptoms at home, use the 111 online coronavirus service. The 111 online coronavirus service will ask about your symptoms and tell you what to do.
Vulnerable and Shielding Patients
If you have previously been shielding you are seen as clinically vulnerable to COVID-19, it is important that you take every precaution to protect yourself. Guidance can be found on:
www.gov.uk/government/publications/guidance-on-shielding-and-protecting-extremely-vulnerable-persons-from-covid-19/guidance-on-shielding-and-protecting-extremely-vulnerable-persons-from-covid-19
Further information regarding COVID-19 can be found on the NHS website.

We are pleased to announce the introduction of Long Acting Reversible Contraception Clinics within our network of surgeries. Click here for more information on these clinics!
Electronic Prescriptions are changing from 7th September 2020

Flu vaccinations for 50-64 year olds
Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine, and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.
Online Services
GP online services gives patients the option to book appointments, request repeat prescriptions and view their GP records, using their computer, tablet or smartphone rather than having to phone or visit their practice.
Online services complement the existing ways patients can access appointments, prescriptions and their records. Contact your practice to sign up to this service.
